Hanging Hangings


Hanging, Hangings.

1. The “hanging” was a curtain or “covering” to close an entrance; one was placed before the door of the tabernacle. Ex. 26:36, 37; 39:38. 2. The “hangings” were used for covering the walls of the court of the tabernacle, just as tapestry is used in modern times. Ex. 27:9; 35:17; 38:9; Num. 3:26; 4:26.
