Te’lem (oppression).

1. One of the cities in the extreme south of Judah, Josh. 15:24, probably the same as Telaim. The name Dhullam is found in Van de Velde’s map, attached to a district immediately to the north of the Kubbet el-Baul, south of el Milh and Ar’arah—a position very suitable.

2. A porter or doorkeeper of the temple in the time of Ezra. Ezra 10:24. He is probably the same as Talmon in Neh. 12:25.
